Belmont Village's Westwood community required a lighting program that looked like a boutique hotel and behaved like senior-living infrastructure. Warm, residential, intentionally unclinical at the visible layer — and engineered for everyday replacement, daily cleaning, and clearance standards behind the scenes.
Renaissance built those operational constraints into every fixture from the first shop drawing. Shades swap without tools. Finishes stand up to routine cleaning. Fixture heights meet clearance codes without reading institutional. The full program — common areas, dining, resident corridors — was fabricated in our Roanoke workshop and staged for phased install.
The visible result is a lighting program that feels like a boutique hotel. The invisible result is a program Belmont Village's facilities team can maintain for years without specialty service calls. Hospitality-grade craft and senior-living practicality aren't in tension when they're engineered together from the start.

Every fixture on this project was engineered, fabricated, and hand-finished in our 75,000 sq ft Roanoke, Virginia workshop — from in-house CAD through powder coat and final inspection. Fifteen years of hospitality craft, one shop, one point of accountability.
Belmont Village Westwood is one of Renaissance's largest single-property projects — over 250 custom fixtures spanning 8 fixture types, all designed to create a warm residential feel in a senior living community.
